Responsibilities:
- Identify potential suppliers and factories in Asia and Europe that meet the company's sourcing criteria
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor market trends and keep up-to-date on industry developments to identify new sourcing opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, logistics, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient sourcing processes
- Analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize the sourcing process and reduce costs
- Manage and track the progress of multiple projects and deliverables
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the sourcing process
- Travel internationally as needed to meet with suppliers and attend industry events
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, international business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, with a focus on finding factories in Asia and Europe
- Strong understanding of the sourcing process, including the ability to identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors
- Fluency in English, with knowledge of at least one additional language, preferably a language spoken in Asia or Europe
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Flexibility to travel internationally as needed.
